BEAVER BANK: A man who was at his Beaver Bank home sustained non-life-threatening injuries following a home invasion on Jan. 21 in Beaver Bank.

Halifax District RCMP Cpl. Lisa Croteau said the RCMP/HRP integrated Criminal Investigation Division responded to the home invasion on Thorn Ave. in Beaver Bank.

At approximately 9:20 p.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a call of a home invasion. When police arrived, the suspects had already left the area.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that a male resident had been home alone when three men forced their way into the residence and assaulted him. The victim incurred non-life-threatening injury.

The investigation is ongoing and being led by the RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigation Section of the Criminal Investigation Division.
