RCMP seek suspect in Enfield break-and-enter

ENFIELD: Police continue to investigate a brazen break-and-enter in Enfield on Dec. 6.

East Hants RCMP S/Sgt. Cory Bushell said police were advised of a break-and-enter into a residence where a 14-year-old youth was home when the unknown suspect entered through a side door.

“The suspect promptly fled upon encountering the youth,” said S/Sgt. Bushell. “Nothing was believed to be taken.”

He said the suspect was described as being approximately five-foot-11 tall and wearing a winter jacket.

S/Sgt. Bushell said residents are reminded to keep doors locked, particularly when not at home in order to prevent such easy access by would be thieves.
