FALL RIVER: The Fall River community will learn more about the soon-to-be implemented RCMP community office tonight.
The discussion on the topic will likely be the main focal point that RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment officials and Councillor Cathy Deagle Gammon have on the agenda at the community consultation.
The meeting is set for Oct. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the LWF Hall, located at 843 Fall River Road in Fall River.
Deagle Gammon had heard from the community about the need for more RCMP presence and so worked with the force to get a community office back in the area.
It will likely be housed out of the Gordon R. Snow Community Centre, where one was previously located.

They will be there to answer as best they can questions residents have.
Police officials want to hear from the community to help them shape the future of public safety in the Fall River area.
