WAVERLEY: Talented musicians are set to hit the stage at the Village Green in Waverley over the next week (Aug. 24 to Aug. 28).

Beginning Sunday Aug. 24, the Waverley Summer Concert Series will be taking place providing musical entertainment to those who stop on by.

And the performers are some who are know locally, across Canada and internationally, and award winners.

Plus some who are just starting to make a name for themselves in the music world.

Here’s a look at each days performers and time they will go on:

The first night on Sunday will see a talented lineup that includes Paul Henman; Richard & Somebody’s Kid; and Joe H. Henry.

Henman will begin things at 5:30 p.m., followed by Richard & Somebody’s Kid at 6:30 p.m.

Henry will wrap things up on the first day at 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday night will be electric as Waverley’s own Mo Kenney, an award winning musician who has toured internationally, will perform for the hometown crowd.

Before Kenney will be rising singer Emstuu who will begin at 6 p.m.

Kenney will start her performance at 7 p.m. and go until she’s done.

The final night of the Summer Concert Series, Aug. 28, will see things start at 6 p.m. when D/Ambrosia hits the stage.

ECMA-award winning band The Town Heroes will begin their set at 7 p.m. tow rap up the concert series at the Village Green.

Folks are advised that all three concert shows are family friendly and they’re encouraged to bring a lawn chair to sit and enjoy the music.
