GOODWOOD: After a delay from its originally scheduled date in June, the Kartbahn 120 in support of Easter Seals Nova Scotia got the green flag on Sept. 10 at Kartbahn, located near Goodwood.
Approximately seven teams were on hand to take part in the event, which raised more than $10,000.
The Laker News’ Pat Healey was on one of those teams that participated, Dent the Doors 2. His other teammates from the CKG Elevator-sponsored team made up Dent the Doors 1.
A free BBQ was held to help fill the teams up before 120 laps of fun entertainment and all for a good cause.

Healey was on a team with Braden Langille, who drives the no. 26 Coldstream Chill Pops ride on the FGI Pro Stock Tour, and Nyk Pothier.
The other three members, Maritime League of Legends drivers Josh and Nathan Langille and Gilby Motorsports crew member Drew Murphy, formed Dent the Doors 1.
When the checkered flag flew after lap 80–shortened due to the number of participants and time of day–it was Dent the Doors 1 coming home with first by three laps and Dent the Doors 2 in fifth place, four laps behind.
They all got the first place trophies as they were entered as one team and organizers split all teams up to have more people on track at a time.
