YARMOUTH: A Middle Sackville hockey player will be lacing up for his third different Maritime Junior A Hockey League team since 2023-2024.

After starting his MHL career with the Summerside Western Capitals in 2023 before being dealt to Yarmouth early in the 2024-25 season, Liam Duquette is now playing in northern N.B.

The Mariners dealt Duquette, a forward, and Nash Coffin to Campbellton. In return, the Tigers gave up a conditional 2026 fourth round and 2027 eighth round picks.

Duquette had a goal and four penalty minutes with the Mariners before the trade in two games played.

In two games with the Tigers, he has racked up 19 penalty minutes and an assist in two games played.

The assist came against the Caps on Sept. 21.

Ironically, his goal with Yarmouth also came against the Caps, his former team, on Sept. 13.
