FALL RIVER: A Fall River Fury U-18 volleyball player has announced where she is heading for post-secondary studies.
In a post on their Facebook and Instagram Pages, the Acadia University Axewomen confirmed that Breagh Powell has committed to the team for the coming year.
Powell, a Lockview High student, will be studying Biology.
The Outside Hitter has been a member of Team Nova Scotia.
Powell was one of three new recruits the team announced for the 2021-2022 Atlantic University Sport season.
The other two, both from Ottawa, Ont., are Wesley-Ann Bailey and Harper Schaefer.
