GRAND LAKE: It was a busy last couple of weeks for local baseball teams and players.
Locally, LWF Baseball saw several teams have success on the field.
In Grand Lake, the LWF U-11 Royals grabbed the silver, losing to LWF Buccaneers in their playoff final.
The Royals had won four and tied a game in round robin before ;losing the close championship game 11-9 to the Bucs (no team photo available at publishing time).

U-13 REC TIER 1:
In the U-13 minor baseball championship, LWF prevailed by a narrow margin.
The LWF Miners won gold downing the Sackville Yankees in another thriller 5 – 3.
