WAVERLEY: Residents are being advised of a culvert replacement that will take place on Waverley Road beginning Tuesday Sept. 2, continuing until Sept. 26.
Atlantic Road Construction and Paving, on behalf of Halifax Water will complete a culvert replacement near 2774 Highway 2, Waverley.
The following traffic control will be in place 24/7.
- September 2 to September 8
- Local access only on Highway 2 (Waverley Road) between the intersection of Rocky Lake Drive and the Fall River Roundabout.
- Local access only on Highway 2 (Waverley Road) between the intersection of Rocky Lake Drive and the Fall River Roundabout.
The following traffic control will be in place Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM only:
- September 9 Â to September 26
- Stop-and-go traffic on Highway 2 (Waverley Road) between the intersection of Rocky Lake Drive and the Fall River Roundabout.

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes.
Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
Halifax Water services will be maintained during this work.
