FALL RIVER: Despite the cold weather, hundreds came out for Christmas on the Canal in Fall River on Dec. 1, celebrating the kick off of the holiday season.

The Lions Christmas Express Parade debuted with it’s new route, and saw many community groups and businesses take part.

It all ended with the FRABA sponsored Christmas Tree lighting, which included treats from local businesses, a photo op display, heaters, and lots of music from Joyful Sounds.
