CANADA GAMES: Kennedy, Green capture women’s soccer bronze


WINNIPEG, MB.: Syd Kennedy, Taylor Green and their Team Nova Scotia women’s soccer team have captured the bronze medal at the Canada Games in Winnipeg.


Kennedy, who calls Fletcher’s Lake home, scored the lone goal–her fourth of the tournament–as N.S. edged Alberta 1-0 on Thursday night August 3. Green is from Fall River.
