Keloose events moved to Sunday

WINDSOR JUNCTION:  With soggy weather forecasted for Aug. 19, the Keloose Committee has made the decision to postpone Family Fun Day activities scheduled for Saturday.

Instead, chairman Nick Yeomans says, activities scheduled for Saturday for the kids will be moved to Sunday Aug. 20, and mean a full day of fun and activities at the WJCC. Activities will begin at 2 p.m., and run until the fireworks show at 9:15 p.m.

The adult dance will remain on Saturday night from 8 pm to 1 a.m. at the LWF Hall in Fall River. 100 Proof is the band.

However, with the postponement the kids parade, which was to include Mark Wiseman, double Canada Games bronze medalist, will be nixed entirely.

The Kids activities will now lead into the live music, food trucks, and awesome fireworks.

“We look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday,” said Yeomans.
