BARR SETTLEMENT: RCMP are asking the public’s assistance in locating a reported missing goat in the Barr Settlement area.

On April 14, East Hants RCMP was advised a family they were the victim of theft, said S/Sgt. Cory Bushell.

“The homeowners discovered their baby pet goat was taken,” said S/Sgt. Bushell. “Evidence at the scene appeared to show an unknown vehicle had sped out of the driveway at some time in proximity to the goat going missing.”

He said the goat is described as all black and male.

“Due to the size of the animal, there is also a chance it was the victim of another animal predator,” he said.

S/Sgt. Bushell said anyone with information is asked to contact East Hants RCMP at 902-883-7077 or Crime Stoppers.
