FALL RIVER: The 15-year-old charged in the alleged stabbing of another 15-year-old near Lockview High late in 2018 is set to return to court on Feb. 19 for a pre-trial conference.

On Nov. 19, the alleged incident is said to have taken place in a wooded area near the school where the youth charged is alleged to have used a knife on another youth.

The gash on the victim’s neck required six stitches.

The youth, who cannot be identified because of the N.S. Young Offenders Act, is facing a slew of charges. Those include: Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm; Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose; Assault with a weapon; Extortion; and Aggravated assault.

He was in court on Jan. 17 for election and/or plea.

The youth’s trial is set for March 27
