WALTON: A 36-year-old West Hants man is facing charges of theft after an incident at the NSLC in Walton on Nov. 26.
East Hants RCMP S/Sgt. Cory Bushell said members were called for a theft report.
“The suspect entered the store, advised he was robbing the place and left with a case of beer,” said S/Sgt. Bushell.
He said the investigation revealed a 36-year-old male from West Hants was responsible.
“West Hants RCMP members were advised of this matter and assisted in apprehending the suspect,” he said.
The man was later released and will face the courts for charges of theft at a later date.
