ELMSDALE: Allison has been involved with the Girl Guide movement since she was a young girl and continues with the association as an adult member.
She has received Gold Thanks award for her extraordinary service to Guiding.
Allison also gives her time to the Caring and Sharing Food bank organizing their Christmas campaign.
Her love for the outdoors motivated her to start an East Hants chapter of the Young Naturalist Club which provides youth outdoor education opportunities.
