East Hants: Municipal volunteers recognized – Warren Yuill

ELMSDALE: Warren has put in numerous volunteer hours of repair and restoration work to the High Tides Arts & Community Centre buildings. He also coordinates the property maintenance and supervises the summer student. 

He dedicates time year-round as the Booking Manager for High Tides Arts & Community Centre and is involved with all fundraising activities for The CHArt Society.

In 2019, he initiated a Film Festival project which brought National Film Board films to the community and tourists in Maitland.   

Warren is also involved with the Maitland Volunteer Fire Department in the position of Fire Chief.
