SHEDIAC, N.B.: Several East Hants race car drivers made the trip across the N.S./N.B. border on the weekend to go green flag racing at Center for Speed in Shediac, N.B.
Leading the way was Miller Racing team of Wayne Miller of Kennetcook and Pete Miller of East Gore.
Wayne Miller brought home first place in the Sportsman race, piloting the no. 90 to victory while Pete came home second in the no. 92.
Meanwhile, it was Colby Crossman of Kennetcook in the 92 bringing home a second place finish in the Bomber division.
In the Minis division, Dave Matthews of Nine Mile River in the no. 99 and JR Lawson, formerly of Shubenacadie who now calls Halifax home, in the no. 81 finishing second and third initially.
However, after post-race tech inspection all but first place were disqualified, leaving just Dennis Mori of Moncton as the winner and lone racer clearing post-race tech.
