SHUBENACADIE: The defence’s request for an adjournment in the case involving two Enfield men charged with child pornography-related offences was granted.

Lawyers for both Carlos Ayapal Gonzalez Moraga and Peter Alan Moorhouse appeared by telephone in court on March 22.

The defence is still awaiting disclosure from the Crown, so the lawyers for Moraga and Moorhouse asked that the matter be adjourned for now.

Moraga faces charges of: Sexual Interference (alleged to have taken place between July. 1, 2020 and Sept. 30, 2020); Making and Possess Child Pornography (alleged to have occurred between Jan. 22, 2021 and Jan. 23, 2021); and Making an Agreement to Commit a Sexual Offence Against a Child (alleged to have taken place between Jan. 22, 2021 and Jan. 23, 2021).
