ELMSDALE: Please join us in celebrating the Shining Star Awards which is bestowed upon an individual who gives their time and talents freely to the benefit of the residents of the Municipality of East Hants.
Jacki has been volunteering for multiple organizations in East Hants for over 18 years. Currently she holds the position of Chair of the Board for the East Hants Museum Society –Tinsmith Museum.
In this position she manages the Tinsmith Museum building and maintenance, as well as directs, organizes, and solicits crafters for the Craft Shop at the Museum.
She is also involved in East Hants Grounds Search & Rescue as Treasurer and participates in searches, Chair of the In Hants Craft Show where she manages the operations of the event, as well as assisting the Nine Mile River Trails and Upper Nine Mile River Hall Committee.
Jacki has a love of volunteering and takes every opportunity to assist whatever organization she can.
