FALL RIVER: On Nov. 27, Ash Lee Jefferson School officially opened phase one of their outdoor classrooms.
The Parent Teacher Organization and school Administration submitted a TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) to fund the project. It is a national charity that funds environmental projects across Canada.
The foundation awarded Ash Lee Jefferson $7,000. The school’s PTO fund-raised additional monies to support the completion of phase one of the project.
