FALL RIVER: A Fall River resident is hoping to be the leader of the pack at this year’s Special Olympics Truck convoy.
Andrew Snow is hoping with the communities support he will be in the lead truck for the fundraiser, set for Sept. 18 at CFB Shearwater.
“The truck convoy is the best event to go to because it’s so nice to see all my friends and to make new friends every year,” said Snow. “It’s really great to see all the big semi trucks honking their horns as the pull in and out of CFB Shearwater on Convoy day.”
Snow and his truck driver are always trying to be the lead truck.
“I was the in lead the truck first two years,” he said. “I have been trying to be the lead truck again ever since.”
There’s a special reason Snow wants to be the lead truck this year.
“I want to be the lead truck this year for our 10-year anniversary,” he said.
People can donate to Snow by contacting his mom at Patti 902-448-0732. Andrew’s goal is $2,500.
