LOWER SACKVILLE: RCMP are searching for a man who entered a gas station on Sackville Drive in Lower Sackville on Oct. 31 and demanded cash.

Cpl. Dal Hutchinson, with Halifax District RCMP, said police received a call of the incident about 6:26 p.m.

The suspect is described as a white male, slim build, about six feet, dark blue hoodie with grey fur trim on the hood. He was wearing a black mask, blue jeans and black sneakers with neon green colouring on them. He was last seen driving a bicycle on Bruce Dr. in Lower Sackville.

“The gas station attendant handed over a small amount of cash and the man left the store on foot,” said Cpl. Hutchinson in a release. “No one was injured.”

Police arrived on scene and were assisted by Halifax Regional Police K-9. The suspect was not located but the investigation is ongoing. It is now being led by the Integrated General Investigation Section.

It’s the fourth armed robbery of a gas station in Lower Sackville in the past week.
