WINDSOR JUNCTION: Unwanted visitors at the Windsor Junction Community Centre (WJCC) on the night of Aug. 22 led to Halifax District RCMP responding.
According to a post on the WJCC Facebook page,there were some uninvited visitors which required the police to disrupt the crowd of underage drinkers, drug users and dangerous drivers.
RCMP spokeswoman Cpl. Jennifer Clarke confirmed police received a call at 10:26 p.m. on Aug. 22.
“We had a call of about 60youths who were drinking at the WJCC,” Cpl. Clarke told The Laker on Aug. 24. “When police arrived there, the youths quickly dispersed.
“We did not observe or arrest anyone for any offences.”
