ENFIELD: An Enfield-based non-profit riding centre is set to offer a new Spring program titled “Hands on Horses – Experiential Learning for Youth.”
Hands on Horses is for children ages eight to 12-years-old, and is an eight-week program beginning April 12 and running until May 31. It will take place 5 to 7 p.m. Cost is $400, no tax per child.
The structure of the program provides one-on-one interactions with the horse to learn body language, communication, teamwork, leadership, patience and much more.
Hands on Horses is a North-American-wide recognized program and Todd Hill Farm is fortunate to be partnering with a fully certified EAL (Equine Assisted Learning) Facilitator – Dawn Josey.
