FALL RIVER: Organizers have made the call this morning, Nov. 25, to postpone Christmas on the Canal – the Lions Christmas Express Parade and FRABA Tree Lighting.

With forcasted weather this afternoon into the evening, organizers felt it would be better to postpone it for the day. The forecast is calling for rain and mixed precipitation.

The parade and tree lighting will now be held Dec. 9, with the parade from the LWF Hall beginning at 5 p.m. and the tree lighting ceremony at 6:30 p.m.

This will be the first year for a Parade of Lights in Fall River.
