LOWER SACKVILLE: A motorcyclist is dead following a single-vehicle crash along Cobequid Road in Lower Sackville shortly before 6 p.,m. on July 16.
Halifax District RCMP say they along with EHS responded to the scene in the 800 block of Cobequid Rd. . Station 41 (Waverley) firefighters also responded. The lone rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP said that Cobequid Rd. between Lakeview Rd and Stonemount Dr. would be closed for several hours. It reopened at 1 a.m. on July 17.
A collision analyst has been called to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
