Fergusson on fire for MSVU Mystics

BEDFORD: Nicole Fergusson is leaving a lasting impact with her Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics (MSVU)women’s soccer team.

Fergusson, a Lockview High alum who hails from the Wellington area, was recently named the Lawtons Drugs Athlete of the Week for the women’s soccer team.

She also earned the Player of the Week for the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) for her standout performance against UKC.

In that game, the fourth year player was a defensive cornerstone at right back helping to secure the shut out and was a key player in the Mystics attack including a brilliant goal from 35 yards out.

On the season, she has two goals and two assists with seven shots on goal in 10 games played, being among the starters for all 10.
