NS: There’s over $15,000 available with random draws guaranteed in five regions. This is a key opportunity for firefighters to raise money and awareness of their needs—especially with so many fundraising events cancelled due to COVID-19.
This year the organizers, AA Munro, have added something special with their SUPPORT SQUAD. Some larger fire departments haven’t entered in the past because they didn’t want to take away the opportunity to win from smaller, less funded fire halls.
But this year everyone can submit and choose if they want to go for the prizes or be a “Non-Competing Entry” as part of the Support Squad.
This is the last full weekend for our heroes across the Maritimes to get theirs in.
There’s $15k in prizes on Nov 8th including random draws for $1,000 in the following regions:
- Cape Breton
- Central Nova
- HRM
- Valley South Shore
- NB & PEI
