FALL RIVER: A local Army Cadet member from 3036 Sackville Lions RCEME Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps. had a big haul at their year-end ceremonial review.
Louisa Horne, who calls Fall River home and is a Lockview High 2020 graduate, took home accolades with the Royal Canadian Legion Medal of Excellence; National Star of Excellence (where Horne won alongside Master Warrant Officer Kelsey Miller); and the Top Cadet award.
It was also announced that Horne’s Cadet Corps., 3036 Sackville Lions RCEME Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps. was awarded top RCEME Cadet Corps in Nova Scotia.
The awards were handed out during the squadron’s virtual awards ceremony on June 8.
