WAVERLEY: The sounds of ABBA will be emanating from the Waverley Legion on Sept. 28.
Dancing Queen, Halifax’s premier ABBA cover band, is bringing their music to the Legion as part of a Boy Scout fundraiser put on locally. They will be bringing their greatest and most danceable hits to the dance floor.
The event gets underway at 7 pm when doors open, with the show starting at 8 p.m. There will be 50/50 tickets on sale, plus snacks for sale on site in support of the local scouting movement. A cash bar will also be open run by the Legion. The event is for 19-plus.
Tickets are $20 per person. They can be purchased through Eventbrite.
