FALL RIVER: Two Lockview High football Dragons will be hitting the road down Hwy 1010 to their new home this September.
Mathew Renouf and Jonah Flynn, both of Fall River, have announced their commitment to the Acadia Axemen football program.
Renouf, who plays the wide receiver position, s listed at six feet tall, 180 pounds.
Flynn, an offensive lineman, stands six feet-five and weighs 300 pounds.
Both players commitment to the Atlantic University Sport Axemen were made on the team’s Instagram page.
Meanwhile, at St. Francis Xavier University, two Lockview High alum were honoured during the Antigonish universities sports awards, held online.
Josh Felix and Jeremy Harper were recognized as first-year eligible student award recipients.
