WINDSOR JUNCTION: It was a team effort of community minded volunteers as they collected, sorted, and then packed the food boxes for the Lions Christmas Express last month.
The effort ensured that close to 80 less fortunate families in the area have a joyous Christmas.
Here are some photos of the pickup at Georges P. Vanier, Waverley Memorial School, and the sorting done by some volunteer groups like the Lockview High girls hockey team at the WJCC.
Food packing and then delivery/pickup of the food took place Dec. 19 and 21 at the WJCC.
