FALL RIVER: The owners of a local fitness business, with locations in Halifax and Fall River, has announced they’re closing both businesses permanently.
The news was issued in a release from 9 Round owners Mike and Krysta Cadden to The Laker News. Members of the facility had been previously informed of the news.
“It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the permanent closure of the 9Round Fall River (and Halifax) location(s).
“On behalf of our family (Mike, Krysta & Holden) and our amazing staff (Melanie, Stephen, Grace, Haley, and Heather), 9Round Fall River wanted to say thank you to the amazing community of Fall River for welcoming us with open arms and fully embracing the program and lifestyle we offered.”
The release continued saying it’s never an easy decision to start a business, “but it is an even harder one to close it, especially in the times we are in right now.”
“When we chose to move here three years ago, we had no idea what we were in for,” the Cadden’s said. “Now we are home. This community has come to mean so much to us and it is filled with wonderful friends, neighbours, and family.
“We cannot thank you enough for your support – whether it be as a member, as a cheerleader, as a journalist, as a business partner or simply as a friendly face wishing us well. Each one of you has left a permanent mark on us.”
They will be staying in the community and hope to see everyone at the other amazing businesses in the community.
