FALL RIVER: The local Girl Guides of Canada unit will be holding an information meeting for all families to come and attend.
The info night is set for March 26 at St. Thomas Anglican Church on Highway 2 in Fall River. It will begin at 6:30 p.m. The information meeting will be where families can come and learn more about Girl Guides and the programs they offer.
For the girls, there will be an egg hunt taking place while parents get to ask questions of the leaders and learn about the organization.
Organizers say that Girl Guides provides an opportunity for girls who lead the way in seeking new challenges and find their voice, discover how they can make a difference in their world and make new friends, all the while having a ton of fun in a safe, supportive, inclusive space.
Girl Guides is the largest, all girl, volunteer organization in the world.
