MILFORD: Police have charged a 38-year-old Dartmouth woman with impaired driving after she blew twice the legal limit following an incident in Milford on April 3.

S/Sgt. Cory Bushell, with East Hants RCMP in Enfield, said officers were called to a complaint in Milford advising there was a female in a hatchback vehicle, parked on a residential lawn.

“The members attended and made contact with the driver who was exhibiting signs of impairment by alcohol,” said S/Sgt. Bushell.

He said the woman was arrested and taken back to Enfield for breath samples.

The driver blew well over twice the legal limit and was charged.

S/Sgt. Bushell said the woman will be appearing in Shubenacadie Provincial Court at a later date.
