LOWER SACKVLLE: The 305 Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Core is sailing right into their new season of meetings.
They’re calling all youth who are 18-years-old to come join the Lower Sackville group, which is open to those in the surrounding communities and are between 12 and 18-years-old.
The cadet program offers sailing, seamanship, power boating, deployments on-board HMC Ships, premier band program (marching), biathlon, marksmanship, summer training, travel, and more.
Best of all, the cadet program is 100 per cent free (including uniforms). All that’s required in return is participation.
305 Sackville meets each Wednesday 6:15 p.m. to 9 p.m. at A.J. Smeltzer Jr. High School, which is located at 46 Prince Street, Lower Sackville. Join them on Sept. 25 for more information.
