MIDDLE SACKVILLE: A 33-year-old man faces charges following an aggravated assault incident on April 7 in Middle Sackville.
Halifax District RCMP say they responded at 9:20 p.m. to a complaint of a serious assault which occurred at a home on Sackville Dr. in Middle Sackville.
A 68-year-old man was found inside the home and has sustained serious life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital by EHS.
The suspect, a 33-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is facing charges of Aggravated Assault. The victim remains in hospital.
The investigation is ongoing and led by the RCMP/HRP Integrated Major Crime Unit of the Criminal Investigation Division.
