NINE MILE RIVER: East Hants RCMP are reporting several thefts from residences and vehicles in the Nine Mile River area on the morning of Dec. 6.
Police say in a message to The Laker News they responded to several thefts where vehicles were rummaged through for money and other items of value.
“At one residence there was an attempted theft of vehicle after suspect(s) entered an unlocked home and stole the vehicles keys,” police said in the email.
RCMP are reminding people to follow a daily #9pmRoutine.
“Every night ensure the windows and doors to your home and vehicles are secured and locked,” the email said. “Remove all valuables and keys from your vehicle(s). Turn on outside lights.”
