FALL RIVER: A ball hockey tournament organized by Stephan MacLellan and sponsored by World Financial Group (WFG), his employer, raised $1,900 towards the new field for Dragons Football on High Road in Fall River.
WFG is matching the donations received, doubling the total. MacLellan and Rebecca Oulton made the presentation of $3,800 to Ian Avery with Dragons Football.
The presentation took place after a short evening session Aug. 1 in the Good Day Cafe building (MRD Driving School room), attended by a few from the community, letting people know what WFG is all about.
