FALL RIVER: Atlantic Lotto has confirmed a person has contacted them believing they have the winning TAG number for the July 25 draw, which would win the recipient $100,000.
Natalie Belliveau, spokeswoman with ALC, said they did have a person call them, however until they go through the routine procedures of determining if they are indeed the winner she couldn’t confirm it.
“We can’t confirm the win until we have seen the winning ticket, and ticket holders go through our security process,” said Belliveau. “But we look forward to meeting whoever has the winning ticket.
“It is always a fun day for our staff when winners come forward to claim a big prize, and our employees are happy to be a part of this exciting chapter in people’s lives.”
To win the $100,000 top prize for TAG, which is an add-on to draw tickets and is available only in Atlantic Canada, all six numbers must match the numbers drawn.
The odds of matching all six numbers are one in 600,000. The winning Tag numbers for the draw that took place Wednesday, July 25, 2018 were 303336.
