WINDSOR JUNCTION: Halifax Water crews will be undertaking a water main repair today Nov. 6, near 1140 Cobequid Road.
This work will require the closure of Cobequid Rd. to all but local traffic from Rocky Lake Dr. to Windsor Junction Rd from 9am – 4pm.
Traffic between Windsor Junction Rd. and Seanleigh Crt. will be permitted via the Windsor Junction Road side of 1140 Cobequid Rd. Traffic between Rocky Lake Rd. and Old Cobequid Rd. will be permitted via the Rocky Lake Rd side of 1140 Cobequid Rd.
There will be no loss of water service during this work. Businesses within the road closure zone remain open.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow. On-site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption.
Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
Halifax Water said they apologize for any inconvenience this necessary infrastructure improvement work may cause.
