LANTZ: While there won’t be a Tide Fest 2020 thanks to COVID19, the wheels are already in motion for 2021 to be bigger and better.
Under a hot humid sunshine, members of the organizing group behind East Hants Tide Fest met up with sponsor John MacDonald of E-Commerce Solutions by Canucks Inc and Kings-Hants MP Kody Blois outside the East Hants Sportsplex in Lantz for a fundraising launch.
The Tide Fest committee launched limited edition sales of a Tide Fest t-shirt that reads “Tide Fest 2020 We Stayed the Blazes Home” on the front, while on the back it says “Tide Fest 2021 Bigger & Better.”
Proceeds from the sale of the shirts will go to supporting Corridor Community Options for Adults (CCOA) and the local food banks.
