WAVERLEY: Liberal MLA Bill Horne, the representative for Waverley-Fall River- Beaver Bank, has announced $10,000 in funding for the Waverley Legion.
The funding is administered through the government’s Legion Capital Assistance Program.
“I’m proud to be part of a government that places a great deal of emphasis on supporting legions across our province,” said Horne. “Investments like these will help extend their lifespan so they can continue to serve our communities.”
The money will be used to upgrade the Waverley Legion’s ventilation system.
