Our government has launched a new website to help Canadians access a range of retirement planning tools and resources
NATIONAL SCHOOL PROGRAM
I am excited to share the Governments of Canada and Nova Scotia have reached an agreement under the National School Food Program.
We will invest $12.4 million over the next three years to help more kids gain access to nutritious meals at school and saving families hundreds of dollars every year on grocery bills.
FLOOD LINE MAP
I recently met with Timothy from Dillon Consulting Limited, who is helping the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) collect data for the development of a flood line map for the Musquodoboit River Watershed.
This map will not only help HRM guide development away from flood hazards, but it will also inform emergency management efforts and empower residents with information that will help them make informed decisions.
