WAVERLEY: The annual Remembrance Day service held in Waverley-and the one in Windsor Junction–combined to see an estimated 1,500 residents turn out to pay their respects to those who served for the freedom we have today.
In Waverley, more than 50 businesses stepped up to purchase wreaths and have members of their company or those with the Cadets and Girl Guides lay the wreaths at the cenotaph.
